It is really going to help me co-parent better. Taking this class has really helped me on high conflict problems, on what I should do, and some things on the kids as well. Even though my wife and I have our problems, she is still my kids' mother. I don't want my kids to look down on their mother, but instead look up to her. Taking this class going in I was upset, and full of emotions. Now, I look at my wife and I see the situation through our kids' eyes. Our kids look up to the both of us, even though I have some anger towards my wife on things that have bothered me, I still want our kids to not think anything bad of her. I intend on moving forward, and focusing on what is in front of me. The past is in the past.

I loved the comparisons that the class drew to other understandable and relatable topics, that allowed me to better understand how my children may be feeling, for example the "It's like going over to a friend's house" comparison. I will make adjustments in my house to accommodate this. It validated my belief that my co-parent and I should never speak badly about each other, and should always try to build each other when speaking to our children. Seeing the chaotic and negative situations a lot of people get into really opened my eyes to how amicable and positive my co-parent and I are now, and gives me a lot of hope that we will be able to co-parent effectively together.
