It helped me think of things that I had not considered before and reminded me that I need to always set aside personal issues with my co-parent in order to be the best parent to our son and to create a life for him where he feels loved and secure and cared for at all times, by both of us. Also it gave really good resources and guides for how to navigate the process of creating a co-parenting plan.

I seemed to be quite familiar with a lot of the content of this class due to my experience coming from a family of divorce. I do like the fact, though that it is very informative and really delve deeply into all of the obstacles one might face and the circumstances. It was very thorough and well put together.

Looking back, there are a lot of things I really appreciated about this online parenting program. First, the flexibility was a huge plus. Being able to work through it at my own pace gave me time to think deeply about each part, especially on topics that needed more reflection. The exercises and journaling prompts also helped me explore my thoughts and feelings in a way I hadn’t before. It was comforting to have a safe space to work through these things. I also liked how practical and realistic the guidance was. There was a lot of emphasis on real-life scenarios and problem-solving, which made the advice feel doable, not just theoretical. The program didn’t just talk about co-parenting in an idealized way—it really dug into the challenges and provided constructive ways to handle them. It also focused on putting the kids’ needs first, which helped me stay grounded in what really matters. Overall, this program gave me useful tools and a sense of confidence moving forward. I feel more prepared to co-parent with compassion and flexibility, and I’m grateful for the insights and skills I’ve gained along the way.

Dr. Judy was amazing! I loved how she explained every step of the process and did so in a logical way that had meaning. She deserves recognition for how awesome her videos are. I liked that you posed the questions at the beginning of the topic and then also at the end once you have learned everything on the subject.

How it not only focusses on the child but tries to give a better understanding of the parent and have us relate back to when we were children and how it made us feel. I also liked how the program had us write positive things about not only ourselves but about our co-parent; it made me remember the good things about him. It made me think about so many things I hadn't thought about before. Showed me new approaches on co-parenting. Taught me it is normal to feel all these different emotions and there are stages you go through with a breakup especially if you're not the one who left. It taught me to not just blame him but take accountability for myself and look for ways to solve this problem and try to work together. With my TBI (traumatic brain injury) from war it was hard to remember every detail (as I have some memory loss, short term) that was said to me, so I had to relisten to some things and take some notes to really capture everything that was being said; I have adapted ways to cope and work with my disability. When I had to write that letter that was what really got me, I mean it touched me and made me feel so many feelings but mostly of happiness and I do hope my child will one day hear my letter and know I mean every word I wrote and know he truly is so special to me.

I liked the journal entries. Being able to have my thoughts down while it was happening and being given a space to do so other than just being expected to do it. I liked the parts where we discussed the emotions both the parents and the child will go through. I like knowing what to anticipate or that what I am experiencing is normal.

All the information stated passively without any tone of accusation or wrong doing for those who are 'learning on the job'! I liked that it touched on such a range of topics in a deep way. It covered a lot of the pitfalls and hardships/struggles we face and flagged areas that need attention/adjustment for betterment in the process at whatever stage.
