Some of the information I liked were: how to make a proper parenting plan for my child, how to deal with divorce problems and how to talk appropriately with our children so that they understand what is going to happen and that they do not have any difficulty accepting what is happening.

It is really going to help me co-parent better. Taking this class has really helped me on high conflict problems, on what I should do, and some things on the kids as well. Even though my wife and I have our problems, she is still my kids' mother. I don't want my kids to look down on their mother, but instead look up to her. Taking this class going in I was upset, and full of emotions. Now, I look at my wife and I see the situation through our kids' eyes. Our kids look up to the both of us, even though I have some anger towards my wife on things that have bothered me, I still want our kids to not think anything bad of her. I intend on moving forward, and focusing on what is in front of me. The past is in the past.

I loved the comparisons that the class drew to other understandable and relatable topics, that allowed me to better understand how my children may be feeling, for example the "It's like going over to a friend's house" comparison. I will make adjustments in my house to accommodate this. It validated my belief that my co-parent and I should never speak badly about each other, and should always try to build each other when speaking to our children. Seeing the chaotic and negative situations a lot of people get into really opened my eyes to how amicable and positive my co-parent and I are now, and gives me a lot of hope that we will be able to co-parent effectively together.

It was very thorough. I like that it requires written interaction and journaling. No matter what stage you are in, this is very important. “If you are thinking without writing, you only think you are thinking.”

Great content. Good information for people going through a divorce. I think it would have been more beneficial a few months ago (prior to telling the kids and creating a parenting plan).

I really like how it's not only focused on parenting the children, but also on yourself, because you cannot be a good parent without doing some self work as well.

The journal entries were really helpful to process through what was included in each unit and get a sense of where I was before the unit. I also really enjoyed the starting with what you know/feel and then the recapping with what you learned. It was nice to see where I was already knowledgeable and where I did have things to learn. Or where I felt differently after going through the unit.

I really liked that they teach you ways that can help you have better communication with your child's other parent, and the things that the children may feel or how it can affect them, and the best way to talk to them. They also explain the different divorces and that there are phases after a breakup. It's really good to take this class because it helps a lot.

It clearly explains to you that the priority should always be the children, because I believe that in most cases parents see it as a power struggle and ego war between them.

I liked the videos that were the children or parents talking. I think that really made it more personal and applicable to our situations. I really made me think about what the kids are dealing with and honestly made me very sad. They shouldn't have to deal with this.

Giving a better understanding to people in situations like these and what to look forward to. This was eye opening in many ways, as hard as it is to go through this, having examples shown and what to aim for as a person and co-parent was extremely helpful. I liked watching the videos where people acted out conversations and issues that people may come across during co-parenting and how they need to be handled.
