Most of it was a confirmation of the things that I have been learning about in my own therapy sessions, but to see that I was retaining the information was nice. The videos were helpful in some points because I was challenged at moments to visualize some scenarios. I really appreciated the definitions for legal terms as well as some of the handouts to help me organize and see if there were things I hadn't considered.

It made me internally think about what I am doing and how I can improve my child's well-being. I also liked the discussion about being attuned to your child and that a good attachment begins with a good attunement. I also liked the discussion about coping with stressors in life and how coping skills are like a rubber band and can only accommodate so much at one time. I enjoyed learning more about communication skills.

I really liked the format of the course. I have taken many online classes and have even taught a couple. The way the journal entries before and after tie in with the videos is useful. Also, the videos clearly and concisely lay out the information.
