Being the nerd I am, I appreciate the scientific research (re: corpus callosum, and L / R hemispheres of the brain, how cortisol affects the brain). The developmental stages of children were helpful. But most importantly, I thought it was very validating to learn ways I am doing some aspects of the "4 Big Skills." Learning ways to use all of the "4 Big Skills" was super helpful. Writing proposals was very empowering! Overall, this course was helpful to me! I wish I would have had this course at the beginning of my separation.

I liked the resources they provide, such as information brochures, they're very useful tools to know where to go if you require professional advice or help. I liked the content - didactic, reflective and informative.

I liked the fact that it help both parents know the approach or how to handle their kids in different situations that can possibly happen, but on the other hand I was not co-parenting because my spouse won't allow me have the kids for weekends or sleep over thinking that I will kidnap them. Before a course like this there should be measures and awareness that both parents have the kids around them to study them better.

I really liked the information about the different phases people go through during a break up but most of all I liked the information on how to communicate better as a co-parent and how much better it is for the children when you do so.

It helped me feel normal - what I am experiencing is common for people during separation and divorce. It also equipped me to better help my children get through this and helped me understand what I can do to make it better for them. Lastly, it helped me understand the process better and gave me tools and resources to work on taking care of myself, checking in with my kids, bonding with them and working on a parenting plan.

It gave me some ideas on better communication skills. I know now that it is normal to go though the different stages and feelings of separation or divorce. Also, that the children best interest should always be the outcome of any co-parenting issue.

The program did a good job of explaining divorce and the possible consequences. Breaking down something that can be really overwhelming into parts that felt more manageable.

It taught me a lot about how I should deal with my child and my ex going forward. I like some of the explanations/videos and some of them even made me cry, haha. Overall, I'd say it provided good information for any parent to have.
