This class helped me learn many things about separation and I oriented myself to know more about many topics and I found them very important. There are many conflict factors that happen when there is separation and especially when there are children in the middle, the impact is very strong but this class will help me a lot.

I feel as if I really gained a lot from this program such as learning better ways to communicate not only with the co-parent but the child as well. I liked having journal entries to fill out as it makes you really stop and think about what you just learned and will in turn make the materials stick better.

All feelings surrounding breakups and the struggles of co-parenting are acknowledged and validated. It also has lots of input from children. It is easy for children to get lost in divorce, custody arrangements and other changes. It is good to have a chance to hear what their feelings are instead of making assumptions for them.

It wasn't just information thrown at you or you needed to take notes. I liked the ability to save the handouts. I also liked the videos of real life experiences but I also hated parts of it in the beginning because a lot of the feelings I could identify with and it dredged up some things from the past that never got resolved and that I had buried. It became overwhelming to bring those emotions back up and there were times I felt I could not complete this class because I was so overwhelmed with emotion.

I learned a lot of information from this class that I was very unaware of. I also learned some good tools to use when it’s comes to conflict with my co-parent and how to handle the situations.

Additionally, the program's focus on conflict resolution techniques provided me with practical tools to address disagreements constructively and minimize conflict for the well-being of our children. Furthermore, the program's emphasis on prioritizing the children's needs and best interests resonated with me deeply, reinforcing the importance of putting aside personal differences for the sake of our children's happiness and stability. Moreover, the program's non-judgmental and supportive tone created a conducive learning environment, allowing me to engage with the material openly and without fear of criticism. Overall, I feel empowered and better equipped to approach co-parenting challenges with patience, understanding and a commitment to cooperation, thanks to the invaluable insights gained from this program.

It really made me think about how I talk to my kids, what I talk to them about and even though I don’t agree with my ex’s life style and how it has effected me and the kids, I need to make sure my kids still love their mom. It opened my eyes to how I can be a better dad, co-parent and “friend” to my ex. It gave me key ways/ideas on how to not stress as much, how to move on and how I can take care of the kiddos better while also not telling the kids all my feelings and/or what’s going on with mom. Just love them, spend time with them, be honest with them and do more of what they want when I have them.

There was a TON of relevant and useful information. I am going through a contentious divorce and I endured years of abuse and this course had many things that were pertinent to dealing with that. I liked the level of information given, it was higher level yet easy to understand.

I really enjoyed the depth of education that went into this course. I wish I could have taken it with my co-parent. Much like therapy, this course helped me with my thoughts regarding the process of divorce and taking in consideration for all angles and emotions for my son and his mother.
