I liked that it went step by step. It kind of followed the whole process of a divorce and was very informative. I also liked the journal entry process. I really liked how this program focuses on maintaining a civil relationship between co-parents instead of just limiting contact. I like how there were many examples of right and harmful conversations and there was a focus on keeping the children out of it but also maintaining consistency in their lives during and after the divorce.

I took from it that I can communicate with my ex and stay focused about what we are communicating about. I'm really hoping that we can have better communication in the end about our girls. I am also hopeful he will get some help so that we can extend the parenting time but I have no control over that. I do realize the importance and presence of their dad and his family in the girls' lives, I do just hope that this can all move forward and the move to Texas happens so that my family can ALSO be of huge support for the girls and to myself.

I really enjoyed the second unit regarding taking care of the children. It was eye opening and made me very emotional thinking about how much my children were affected. I just enjoyed getting that information and those perspectives.

I liked how this class laid out guidelines for how to handle setting up parenting time and conflict resolution in high conflict co-parenting situations. This is one of the absolute reasons I chose this class over others because I'd like to do so without causing further harm to our children's psychological growth.

It gave me a perspective that my feelings are not unique to me during the breakup. And to always put the kids above feelings not matter the situation.
