This program really helped me be more self reflective on how I've handled things over the years. I feel I've handled situations well, but also feel that there are definitely areas of improvement going forward. This program also put things in perspective: I'm not the only person going through this situation, there are millions of others that are experiencing the same struggles. This program also reenforced the importance of handling things with always keeping the child in mind. Everything we do as co-parents is for the betterment of our child. This program is a great tool to help provide the tools that are needed to ensure that we as co-parents handle things in the most positive way possible for our child.

I really enjoyed learning about the overall program. I was intrigued by the number of resources available to families who endure divorce, loss and grief. It really did a great job in teaching me that different stages children go through when parents are divorcing. It's imperative to watch our children's emotional state of mind too, we adults feel so many emotions when enduring a divorce.

Reflecting on the learning objectives and how they applied to our current situation allowed me to gain deeper insights and consider different perspectives. This approach helped me connect the material to real-life scenarios, making the lessons more impactful and relevant.

A lot of information gets put into perspective for you that is often overlooked or forgotten about over time. This class should be required for every separation that involves children.

The structure of the coarse starting off by you taking care of you first before hitting the more complicated topics. It was a comprehensive breakdown of the important concepts of separation and divorce before covering all the legal aspects, it informs you on how to be a responsible co parent and how to effectively communicate with the other co parent for the main goal of trying to work together in providing all the needs of the child. I am glad it also addressed children with special needs. Also, the option of printing out handouts summarizing important points from various sections in the course.

Somethings I liked about this program was that I was able to save my work and log in and out as needed. I feel this is great because those who work either full or part time and have to take care of their baby or children wont have to feel rushed or pressured to finish in one day.

My favorite part was learning to watch what you say bad about your co-parent because that will hurt your children. I'm not sure why I didn't already think of that. I like the communication techniques keeping our emotions out of it, thinking what's best for kids.

It gave so many perspectives but also had a lot of sourced that were credited and also testimony, especially the kids testimony. The kids come first. I also really liked the letter we write at the end for our children, it had me deep in my feelings about everything.

Overall I think this class is great and can help people with traditional break-up situations. Unfortunately for me, mine was a little too specific to really gain all the knowledge I could from this. However, I am eager to see how the training will assist me later on in the parenting process.

Some things I really enjoyed reading about is the different parenting styles and how that parenting style can be the reason for the way your child responds back to you. I really enjoyed the reads on as they grow and the age range, what to expect as in they are identifying who they are as they grow and how as a parent to adapt to the changes and understand as we best as we can.
