8 Hour - Parenting Without Conflict

January 29, 2023

Wondiesa W.

I really liked all of it, yes it was long and I knew a lot of it already, but as parents we should always be open to learning more ways to be a better parent for our children. I also like the BIFF technique, it helps when my co-parent is being unreasonable or yelling at me.

16 Hour High-Conflict Co-Parenting

January 28, 2023

Lena B.

I liked that in the parts where it talked about abuse, that there was no option for me to really elaborate on that so I had to take in the information as a survivor. I liked that the approach was focused on both the aggressor and the victim/survivor and what each could do to do better for the children. It was really great going through the lesson about moving forward, as well.

12 Hour - Parenting Without Conflict

January 23, 2023

Jonel F.

I liked the detailed descriptions of high-conflict personalities and the suggestions for dealing with them. I also liked the focus on the big 4 skills and how to use them to model behavior for your children's sake and how that will help even when dealing with a difficult co-parent who exhibits poor behavior. I also liked learning about how court cases can escalate high conflict behavior but also can cause bad feelings and resentment. I also benefited from hearing that courts have a difficult time discerning high conflict behavior because of time constraints and lack of information, or because they see the best behavior in court. Also, that there is an assumption that both parties can be high conflict, even if that is not the case.

8 Hour - Anger / High-Conflict Behavioral Skill Training

January 17, 2023

Lakisha S.

I liked the explaining of the triggers to anger and the way I react and also helped me see that sometimes no reaction is the best reaction to certain things and situations. Also that a lot of situations can't be resolved and that is also okay, but it is also good to address the situation and come to a common ground.
