While it did focus heavily on the co-parenting aspect of these situations, I really liked getting the POV of the children who have been impacted by separation and it really put things into perspective. I knew it wasn't about us but about the kids, but I liked the emphasis of it.

I really liked most of the class. I think there are a lot of things taught in the class that people will over look when separation occurs. Having been separated now for almost 5 years we have had to navigate just about everything that was in the class on our own and i wish I had this class back when we first separated.

I liked how it focused on the needs of the parents as well as the needs of the children - helping parents learn ways to cope and to manage their mental health was really great. I also liked that you could self-pace through the program and could take breaks. I felt like that information given was matter of fact and didn't make parents feel guilty about making the choice to separate.
