I liked the videos, especially the ones with the doctor speaking, they were informative and full of helpful hints about effective communication. I like how certain clips were broken down by age specific groups. I liked the journaling. I did take a lot longer to finish the program but I feel like I was intimately involved rather than a passive viewer.

I like that they teach me to understand the situation, they teach me how to control my emotions and that emotions are normal to feel. Also how to understand divorce or separation, how to deal with the situation and how to find the best way to solve the problem of caring for the children

I really like how in-depth every conversation was and how they gave really good examples and scenarios, and just made it really easy to understand and comprehend, and kind of put yourself in the shoes of the actors in the scenarios.

For me it is very important and gratifying to learn new things that will be useful in my daily life so that I can continue to guide my children along the path of life, since no one is born knowing how to be a good parent, but with the help of experts I feel more capable of fulfilling the role of a parent and thus encouraging my children to achieve success in life and to fulfill all their dreams and aspirations. Thank you for the teachings I received here.

I learned different things when taking this class. Sure, everyone knows people get upset with breakups and things like that but I enjoyed having things broken down and learning about things like the phases of relationship breakdowns and the phases of adjustment. I just want to see my daughter, be with her as often as possible and have an amiable relationship with my co-parent. Talking about co-parenting and the parenting plans were a big help too in helping me evaluate myself and my situation.

I was in an abusive relationship and I was concerned that the information would not be relevant to my life. I really liked that abuse was discussed and it wasn't a class about how divorce is just "bad" for the children. The course truly discussed what is best for all children.

I really liked it. It was open to you taking care of your mental health first in order to be there for everybody else. I thought it was a very holistic approach to looking at a crazy situation. I thought it was overall positive and had good information. It helped you feel like you weren’t alone.

This class made me think about the process of separation and divorce from all angles. It provided communication techniques to deal with the co-parent, and ways to speak to the child about divorce and help the child adjust to the change. Most of all, I learned that it is vitally important for a child to have both parents in their life if it is possible.

It brought to light how even if you think you mean well, you could still be negatively impacting your children. It's important to monitor your feelings and how you word things, so that the children will want to see both parents.

I liked how it goes through feelings in the initial breakup phase from both perspectives. And that it covers all of the kids age ranges and how to navigate the divorce with each age group.
