I really benefited from the journal sections and the videos. I was most interested in how to talk to my children about the divorce and how to help them in the transition. These areas were very helpful. I now feel like I have a better understanding of how to work with my two children. Thank you for allowing me to complete the course and for putting this information together.

I liked how it gave different perspectives of different situations and moments so I could understand more about co-parenting and being a parent overall. I got to learn more about my child’s feelings, expressions, needs and more importantly I was shown other ways and processes to make A.’s life and well being much better. This program made me rethink a lot about parenting and co-parenting so that his mother and I are always focused on his best interest in every situation.

The content was easy to digest and very thought provoking. It certainly is providing me with more tools to navigate what will be a tough situation moving forward. I also liked the combination of video content and written content. The handouts to download is a great idea and I will be using to reference at later dates.

The different worksheets that can be used to really reflect on the relationship with the co-parent and the children. I also liked that it would help me reflect on my own emotions and actions.

I really enjoyed diving into the ACEs portion of the class. It provided me with some new information regarding how the divorce has and still is impacting the kids. I also appreciated the section about taking care of the children. It seems simple but there's so much more than the basics. They need to know that parents aren't perfect and that its OK to make mistakes.

Something I liked about this program would be the different scenarios. I’m a visual learner so I appreciated seeing the clips. I also felt that this program helped open my eyes on ways to resolve some of the conflicts my ex-husband and I have.
