I liked how they put perspective into life. They told you about how others handle breakups and what should be done to care for a specific individual (kids). I really like how the perspective of divorce changed because I realized I was abused a bit and I'm happier. Now I need to focus on what's beneficial for my kids.

This program incorporates a lot of the same principles that my therapist has taught me, which I enjoy. This class also confirmed that my choices to leave were correct, validation is an excellent thing to get even if you already know that your choice was correct.

One of the most insightful things about this class was asking the emotion-based questions both before and after the module. In almost every case, I found my answers changing to be more positive and cooperative after the module.

This really taught me ways to focus on myself, my co-parent & my child in our current situation and showed me ways to deal w/ the upcoming divorce. I also learned there are different ways other than lawyers to get divorced (mediators & collaborative divorce). I also learned different ways to try to keep the peace between co-parents and ways to focus on my daughters well-being through all of this.

I think this was extremely informative and helps bring reality of the situation more real. Also that I thought differently about some things like telling the children about our divorce and not keeping it a secret. Which changed my mind since I experienced that scenario as a child and left me with a huge disadvantage. I wish they had this program when my parents got divorced cause the did everything opposite as this programs suggest.
