While it did focus heavily on the co-parenting aspect of these situations, I really liked getting the POV of the children who have been impacted by separation and it really put things into perspective. I knew it wasn't about us but about the kids, but I liked the emphasis of it.

I really liked most of the class. I think there are a lot of things taught in the class that people will over look when separation occurs. Having been separated now for almost 5 years we have had to navigate just about everything that was in the class on our own and i wish I had this class back when we first separated.

They break down a lot of the communication process and then they give you different ways on how to communicate with your co-parent - it really makes you feel like you’re not the only one going through it. It really gives you a wide range of ways in order to help you and your child get through the divorce.

It is essential to respect the feelings of the children while also considering what is best for them, as evidenced by the various experiences of couples who have ended their relationship. By analyzing the professional videos, I was able to reflect on the advantages and disadvantages of this process and realize how well-prepared I must be to ensure our child's well-being.

I know now that making a schedule is a good way to communicate, which I have been doing. Also, that it isn't a good idea to run to the court every time you have a miscommunication. If the other parent would communicate our lives would be easier.

I liked how it gave different perspectives of different situations and moments so I could understand more about co-parenting and being a parent overall. I got to learn more about my child’s feelings, expressions, needs and more importantly I was shown other ways and processes to make A.’s life and well being much better. This program made me rethink a lot about parenting and co-parenting so that his mother and I are always focused on his best interest in every situation.
