While none of it was really a big surprise, I did appreciate learning about some of the things to do and not do during co-parent discussions. I believe one of our biggest issues is communicating and coming to an agreement and we both tend to not focus on the actual topic and bring prior issues into the conversation.

The sources and additional links will help further my understanding of being the best I can be for our child and just keeping the notion of who is most important. Overall it covered the dynamics of this emotional time and the tools needed to cope and be successful.

I liked how it focused on the needs of the parents as well as the needs of the children - helping parents learn ways to cope and to manage their mental health was really great. I also liked that you could self-pace through the program and could take breaks. I felt like that information given was matter of fact and didn't make parents feel guilty about making the choice to separate.

I really enjoyed learning about the childs' needs and how to communicate with them and to know the signs about if, and when your child needs more help processing the separation. I also learned a lot from the portion about communicating with your partner and how to not make the small things into big things, when the small things will just disappear on their own.
