This program has helped me understand that given the circumstances, the child is the most important part of the process. I learned that completely affected by things I would not normally considered. I liked the self care, the stages of grief and the co-parenting tools. The self care and realizing where I can get stuck emotionally was very helpful. I knew how important it was to talk to my children, but learning about the stages of grief they're going through made me want to be more careful about how I talk and more empathetic to how they may be feeling. The tools for working with my co-parent I think will be helpful. Knowing to avoid trigger, not to get sucked into negative thoughts, words, or interactions, and trying to build on successes are going to be instrumental in changing how we communicate going forward. I think right now as the court part is still happening, it will be hard to implement all of these, but I hope as time moves on we will both move fully into the "moving on" part of our emotional journeys and leave this behind as much as possible.

Although most of this doesn't apply to my situation, this was a very good class for a more typical angry divorce without abuse and high levels of manipulation. I've recommended it to a few friends.

Breaking down the different aspects and standpoints of the individuals involved. What is important to our son, to me and to my co-parent. Also, I was glad to see realistic suggestions to handle conflict as it arises.

I wish I would have gone through and taken this class at the start of the divorce process two years ago. There is a ton of really good info in here that I wish I had access to back then. There was a lot of hardship I went through at the beginning, that this would have helped guide me through and cleared up a lot of misinformation that is out there.

1. Using the families and their issues help to show how different co-parents can react/trigger each other. Also, videos of children's reactions to their parents breakup/separation and how it can affect them. 2. The very detailed information given which helps to identify my own personal feelings/issues about my breakup and what I can do different 3. The details helps me better understand my co-parent's and I relationship and how I can react differently to not trigger my co-parent.
