The self evaluation really helped me get clear on patterns that I’d been aware of, but had yet to articulate. Once out of my internal narrative and on the page, so to say, it became glaringly obvious that I would not tolerate such conduct from another; hence I must come clean with myself and my family about how I have actually behaved and apologize.
