I truly enjoyed this program. I like how it covered all sides of separation/divorce and what one experiences going through it. The videos were a bit old and the actors questionable, but the point was there, loud and clear. I liked having a quiz at the end of each chapter as well, to ensure one understood the chapter.

I started off hesitant and reluctant, I didn’t believe that this was relevant in my case because I’m dealing with a one-night stand. After getting past the reference of divorce and seeing how the situations could be worse, I appreciated the lessons I was receiving overall.

I learned so much about things I have been doing wrong and proper ways of communicating. I learned that I am not alone in dealing with someone who I feel can be very difficult at times and that it is not as uncommon as I thought. I learned a lot about what is important and what isn't in the eyes of the court. I learned about left and right brain thinking which was amazing to me and makes total sense! I feel as though everyone in a court custody case should take a co-parenting class!

I enjoyed learning ways to deal with a high conflict parent, also it made me realize that the things I'm going through are very common. The 4 big skills will help me moving forward. It was pretty wild to read and watch the videos and see how much they mirror what is going on in my life. I feel I'm better prepared now moving forward.

The BIFF method is really great advice. Also breaking down the types of high conflict co-parents and the way the course is written helps me to see more clearly the ways in which I have mis-stepped in trying to manage a person who has displayed 3-4 of those traits from each type. I am encouraged that the information presented in units 1-4 especially will help me not get drawn into emotional memories and will help me stay on task when communicating with the co-parent.
